Kiki

I need to find a new home for my dog urgently as I just given birth and my baby is premature, therefore allergic to dog's fur. I really do not wish to send her to SPCA and run the risks of her being put to sleep. This is a painful decision for me so I need to find a new owner for her ASAP. 

Kiki is really cute, doesn't look like a mixed Shi Tzu & Maltese breed, but she is one. She loves attention and sticks to owner all day long. Give her more time to warm up to strangers as she hardly mix around with people outside. She is newspaper trained and collared-trained. Kiki needs a genuine, patient owner who has experience with dog and can spend time with her. I have at least 5mths supply of Solid Gold dry food if Kiki is successfully adopted.

Coco

The Beautiful Cocker Spaniel is up for adoption. She is 4yrs old. Very pampered and loving nature. Due to her past misfortune she tends to scared of other dogs. But once she knows the dogs well, she will be doing fine.

2) Allow home visit from me (Rescuer & Rehomer)

Puppy 

The female puppy been in our home for 2 weeks now.  It was found running around a warehouse in Sg. Kadut area.  Previously, stray kittens & puppies were run over by forklifts in that warehouse.

We already have 1 big dog to take care.  Just taking care the puppy for time being till adopted.

very playful, active & alert, prefers outdoor to "urine & defecate"

Ah Girl

This dog name Ah Girl, found abandoned around Boon Lay area last year. She is a mix breed (Collie/Shetland), around 4 yrs old. We have been giving her food for sometime till she become our guard dog. Her pelvic was fractured due to a hit and run accident. She has almost recovered, just that her 4th injured leg is still weak. Require life time medication of neuroforte to strengthen her muscle. Already sterilized and arranging for heartworm vaccination next month.
 
She is tame, friendly and manja.. loves massages. No adoption fee require. Currently staying at foster home.

Nike (Collie Mix)

>Nike has a very gentle and lovely temperament. She is very sweet and gets along with everybody and almost any dog. She is about 5 years old, and has a clean bill of health (screened by the vet). Ah Boy (Singapooch)

Currently staying behind a car garage shop at Sin Ming Car Industrial Estate. Abandoned by its owner (it has an AVA dog license on its rusty collar), and kindly taken in by the worker of the car work-shop. Estimated to have stayed there for about 3 years. Main source of food: bread thrown in by the workers and sometimes left-over rice. Chained up to prevent him from running to the streets.

Shin (Siberian Husky - NOT suitable for Singapore (so are all Nordic breeds!).  But they are already here, so we have to help them in however ways we can)

This poor sweetie is being tied to a window grill with a short leash all day long.  The skin around his neck is raw due to the constant leashing.  His nails are so long they are overgrown so much so that it is difficult for him to stand up properly.  He eats, sleeps, pees and poos at the same place and he has been fed lousy food like rice which is not meant for dogs.  Fortunately there is a kind foster home where he will be rehabilitated sufficiently before he goes to a good permanent home.  Any amount of donation (for rehabilitation expenses) welcome!  E-mail me.   

100% Singapooch (Urgent)

On 16/1/08, a female stray dog, gave birth to 9 puppies, 4 female puppies and 5 male puppies. One female puppy passed away, one female puppy (Milly) was injured after being hit by a forklift. The rest of the puppies are very healthy. The injured puppy which I named her as Milly is currently being bandaged and requires weekly check up.

We kept the puppies at the back of our office building. As we are not the owner of the premises, we are being threatened by the owner to send the puppies to SPCA.  I had contacted ASD for help, but unfortunately my cry is being turned down as they do not have enough resources to look after so many puppies at a time.

At the moment, we managed to vaccinated (1st vaccination) and worming all the puppies. I also had bought the frontline to de-tick/de-flea and heart worm medicine for all the puppies.  I managed to screen and send 1 puppy to his new owner and left with 6 puppies and 1 injured puppy to take care. After 2 weeks taking care of this injured puppy, Milly, I noticed that she is very lovely, adorable, clever & playful. She learn paper trained very fast and will always do her business on paper if available. Currently, I'm placing her in a box in our office and she will cry if she needs to go toilet. She learn very fast and understand some basic command.

I hope someone can help on this or otherwise all these puppies might be put to sleep if the owner of the premises call SPCA. I will do whatever I can to prevent this from happening. Lex (GSD)

Lex is a well-tempered dog who loves to be around human. Unlike most German Shepherds, he’s afraid of thunder and smaller size dogs. Lex loves playing chase with his bowl. He would always take his bowl after each meal and run after you asking you to play with him. He is really lovable and if it is not beyond my control I would never give him up. I’ve currently just moved into a HDB and could not bring him over with me. Lex is still over at my old house alone. I really hope I would be able to find a good owner for him asap. Wang Wang (Alaskan Malamute)

The dog has always been in the pet shop since young, the old couple who take cares of her does not know how to take care of this special dog and so she is not in a tip top condition. After a few attempts to persuade them, they have decided to give her up for adoption.

Prince (Siberian Husky)

Prince is a Siberian Husky with grey blue eyes. He loves kids and has a fantastic personality. He is an active dog who enjoys his twice daily walks. He is outdoor trained (he pees and poos twice a day), during his daily walks.

We have to give Prince up as we are moving to a HDB apartment in less than 2 months time.

We hope someone residing in a landed property could take Prince and allow us to visit him once every month.

Diet : mainly Eagle Pack keebles, Cosi milk and greenies. Unable to consume pastas.....

Dober (thanks to angels from Jurong West!)

Residents in Jurong West found this injured stray dog lying at the void deck on 14 Sept and nursed it from 'nobody's child' to a neighborhood pet named Dober.  Medical attention was arranged the following day, temporary shelter was built for this fellow.  There are volunteers in all aspects, some helped to raise funds for Dober, some looked for potential permanent homes, others who are not working scheduled themselves to feed Dober, apply medication and give him oral medication.

Dober is believed to be a young dog (few years old?) and in good health.  Being a stray, he may be dominant to other male dogs, but is good with female dogs and children.  He is a very good and loyal dog.

Dogpeople's comment: I've came across many stories where animals appear to 'seek' help from humans when they lost, injured or desperately hungry.  Could Dober have the intelligence to have chosen to stay at the void deck because he wanted human help?  Hm......

Cooper (doberman)

Age: 6
Sex: male

Cooper's parents were canadian show dogs but he was bred in Singapore. He is slightly smaller then normal but is otherwise a perfect example of a Dobermann. He is very smart and very affectionate. He is extremely human-friendly and those who are looking for a guard dog will be disappointed. Cooper is fine with other dogs as well but does not like cats. He is still very fit and healthy for a 6 year old dog and has no existing medical problems. He can be as active as you like him to be or equally comfortable just lazing around at home. He is trained to do his business outdoors.
