This good looking male husky was given up by ex owners to a farm owner.. According to the farm owners, the husky's called Colly and aged approximately 2 1/2 years old.

At the farm, Colly's kept in a outdoor cage for 24 hrs daily with minimum shade and totally deprived of exercise(walks) and contact with people.The cage is where he's fed, sleeps and does his "business"..

After countless negotiation with the farm owners, he has been rescued just yesterday by my friends and he's currently residing at a animal shelter waiting for a new lease of life.

Colly's surprisely good natured despite his ordeal and he walks very well on leash. Is there anybody keen to adopt him or even just to foster him? Do help to spread the word for Colly..

Please help...my friend has been feeding this pack of puppies and their mom for the past weeks or so now and they are in desperate need of a home cos where they are hanging out, there are all these trucks and cars going about and these puppies have no idea that the cars and trucks are dangerous! There is a stray dog that has given birth to 11 puppies under a big rubbish truck in front of our office compound.

Currently, they are safe in a small man made shelter, with the approval of the kind management.

I tried emailing some organization but either they did not reply or has no room for them.

I really really would like to do something for those homeless pups than letting them go astray when they are older.

Name: Santa's Little Helper - Santa for short

Santa was found abandoned by his previous order at the void deck of their flat, scrounging hungrily for food. He is four months old, and has had his first vaccination and deworming tablet. He's unsterilised (not the right age).

Santa is a lively active curious male puppy and is extremely intelligent. He barks when he needs to go downstairs to do his business. He responds well to training and knows how to sit and shake hands on command. In fact, he now shakes hand automatically when he sits.

He loves long walks, and despite his size (12kg), he'll try to climb on my lap for hugs and pats. He needs someone with lots of love and patience.

3 Farm Beagles (only 1 photo shown here)

The 3 farm beagles are urgently looking for fosterers or home, the breeder is not feeding them now cause they are of no used to them. Very sad case and they are in bad shape and one of them is crippled.

We have just been informed two days ago there is yet another female beagle looking for a home. Unfortunately this beagle is crippled due to an accident in a breeding situation. (another casualty among breeding dogs) We do not know how long ago this happened (sigh).

So as of now, there is now one male and two female beagles, of which one is crippled, for rehoming or fostering. The beagles need to find fostering soon as we have been told they are not being fed much. They are approximately 5 years old.

Harry - Husky/Golden Cross (?)

Beautiful golden Harry was found on the 19th of Dec 2008, abandoned, homeless, all bones and extremely hungry. A kind person has been fostering him since. Harry is approximately 5 to 6 years of age. He is medium-large sized and suitable for private estates. Harry is good with humans, even allowing strangers to pat and cuddle him tight. Harry is a beauty to behold.

Hugo is a surviving puppy from a litter of puppies that have all foundhomes. Sadly, Hugo was not rescued when he was chubby and small unlike hissiblings. He was not sighted by us when we had rescued the other puppies. He had probably lost his way and was left to survive it he jungle with no foodor water or shelter. However, he had found his way to the area where we fed our dogs and is developing a very sweet personality now. He is still very thin and requires a lot more good food.

Chocho's spayed, fully vaccinated for the year, microchipped and sits on a clean bill of health (tested negative for heartworm and tick infection).

Hayley has been wondering around my estate for the past few months, hoping for scraps at the coffeeshop and sniffing around rubbish chutes for left overs and drinking water from the car park washing bay.. sometimes enduring abuses from people especially with umbrellas who are afraid of this scary stray.. Hayley herself has been shy and wary of people, never approaching humans even when they have food for her. Only when they placed the food on the ground and walked away then she will cautiously picked up the scraps.

She's a protective and caring mum to her 4 pups too, i ever witnessed her picking up a pack of food given by a kind hearted soul and happily going off to feed her pups. Any one who comes near her pups, she will warn them off with her growls and barks. Her pups learning quickly, will run off to hide in the overgrowths they called home when strangers approached. This was when i started to feed Hayley and pups twice a day, hoping that it will be sufficient to keep her and her pups�in her safe place and not having to wonder out again till i can get them all sterilized. Unfortunately, it just wasnt enough.. the pups started to follow Hayley around when she went out to look for food.. This family of 5 really garnered alot of unwanted attention.. Hayley was just not able to protect her pups out of their safe hold.. And as expected, the pups were taken away from Hayley within a week of being seen.. by who and where i do not know..

After her pups were gone, i started to notice changes from Hayley.. She allowed me to come close to her and eventually she approached me and actually let me pat her. she started to follow me around and started to whine and howled whenever i had to leave after feeding her. I had to hide out at the car park till she walks away disappointed before i can sneak home.. It really breaks my heart to leave her.

I admit i gotten rather attached to Hayley.. Worrying daily if she will be caught by AVA or SPCA or worse run down by cars.. She's just not very road savvy.. i saw her laying on the filter lane before with the cars vooming pass her.. and enduring bad weather..Thus i just have to see her everyday to make sure she's alright. I can't keep her as much as i like to.. I stay in a rented HDB flat, got 3 small dogs of my own and keeping another medium size dog is just way too much attention. My neighbours do not like dogs, they just tolerated my dogs .

Right now, she has been chased out of her home.. As another stray has taken over her terrority.. With her soft personality, she just could not defend her terrority at all. And she started sleeping at the pedestrain pavement. She had to move away everytime somebody walks pass and she was even kicked by an idiot once. And now she has taken to sleeping at my void deck for the past 2 days (another long story). i decided to bring her home for the time being to avoid her being taken away.. I will try to keep her as long as possible till she can get fostered, rehome or even to noah's ark. Bt the last choice will have to wait till i can share somebody to share the monthly costs with me.. As my monthly financial burden is just too high..

I am Cocoa. a one year old, local chocolate dog. I'mcurrently living out on the streets with my mummy, daddy and little sis. Life has been a rollercoaster for me. I was born in a vehicle car park a year ago along with 5 other siblings. Two of my siblings were rescued as puppies and rehomed. Another brother of mine was found dead after being hit by a pole by a terrible man. My sister and I are the remaining of the litter my mummy had. I've been living my days out in the cold rain and learning the art of rummaging for food from mummy. Worst still, running from the authorities has not been an easy task. Thankfully, I am now being fed by a kind old lady who comes to feed us every evening.

However, she has not been able to take me in. Recently, I've grown pretty handsome and am fully grown. Most importantly, as you can see from my Pictures, I'm pretty small for a local dog! This makes me even more suitable for a family with kids and other dogs as well. I don't fight for food, I wait my turn and never ask for much. All I ask for is the chance of a lifetime which could turn the dreams of a stray into reality. Please give me the chance to love you and snuggle up to you with my little brown nose.

Cookie (Kangaroo-lookalike pup!)

Blessed with big upright "kangaroo" ears, Cookie was barely 1 month old when found abandoned in a carpark. She is currently 4 months old and urgently looking for a loving home. She doesn't ask for much but just love and lifetime promise to take care of her as part of family.

This poor mongrel was found with a nylon string tied tightly to his neck. The neck area was infected with maggots. A kind man saw it and took him to the vet and had him boarded. Young Male, estimated 1+ year old, unsterilised. Quiet boy, wary of stranger but friendly, not fierce at all and doesn't growl. Instead will move back (reverse) when u raise ur hand. High EQ dog!

Donald (Golden Retriever)

Donald was abandoned by his heartless owner along Pasir Ris Farmway 2. When we found him, he has maggot infested wounds which were operated immediately. Vet confirmed that the wounds were about 1 week old. This means the poor boy has been on the street for 1 week :( But that is not the end for the boy. He has hip problem which need to be operated on. If not, he will probably not walk in future. It will also reduce his chance to almost Nil of finding a home.

He is a very friendly dog and responds to basic commands. The owner probably took the easiest out to avoid the medical bills. We will be sending him for operation this friday and will welcome any contribution for his operation and post op reviews which will be at least $3k. Zai Zai

This sweetie was rescued Boonkeng area. Four others sibling of this puppy have dissapeared.

Zaizai is a 3 mths old male puppy. The rescuer has been boarding him at an animal shelter after he was rescued months back. He has been checked by a vet, defleaed and dewormed. He gets along well with everyone, and even any cats or dogs!

Old Boy

'Old Boy' was found in Toa Payoh area recently. He was wandering around aimlessly when he was brought back to be bathed and fed. He's called 'Old Boy' because of his wise-looking light-colored centre-parting "hairdo".

Joy is the mum of the 9 puppies. 7 puppies have been adopted with the help of Dogpeople.org. Now it is time to help Joy a permanent home.

Joy came to my workplace when she was pregnant. She is a lovely and shy mother. She was very skinny when she firstly came to my workplace. As we (me and other colleagues) started to feed her, she has decided to stay with us. Recently the owner of the premises started to make noise again. They have voice out about the liability, the security of our customer and etc, etc & etc. My MD has requested me to help to get an adoptor for them (Joy & Ricky) or else the owner will call SPCA. 4 Pups (urgent)

4 puppies URGENTLY looking for fosterers or permanent homes (can be adopted individually)

Approx 5 to 6 months old. Their home is now a forested area near a park (their mom & 3 siblings were captured by the authority & put to sleep, so these 4 poor pups have been fending for themselves and depending on people to feed them). They have no shelter and as its been raining heavily for the past week the pups have been totally drenched and only know how to huddle together to keep warm. They do not venture out from their area as I guess they think of that place as �ehome�f since their mom left them there and they don�ft know of anywhere else to go to. If they venture out, there are only houses around and the road where they could get hit by vehicles. They would probably be chased away if they entered the park area.

As they are getting bigger and think of their area as their home, they are starting to bark at people who walk past. The owner who took in these abandoned dogs has compassion but no ability to care for them. They are only given one meal a day with limited opportunity to socialize. It turns out that the "lost" dog belongs to a man who used to keep the dog tied up and neglected him terribly. Well, one day when he got the chance, the smart dog bolted. He was found by a teacher who decided to foster him with the help of a friend, while looking for his owner. She took him to the vet, got him checked up and helped treat a skin irritation around the dog's neck caused by the tight collar. Then she found the owner and realized he really didn't care for the dog, so she and her friend decided to keep the dog, as the dog is such a good furkid and smart and they'd grown deeply attached to him. She describes him as "obedient, intelligent and loyal". So now, the dog has a new, caring home where he has space to run around - and the best part is that he quite literally found his new home and humans himself. :):):)

Skana has been adopted! He is good with other dogs except dominant males and can get along well with adults.? Probably due to some bad experience he had, he can be snappish when he feels threatened by sudden gestures so a home without young naughty children is ideal for him.

Jack has been adopted! Jack is a fully grown Mongrel but weighs only around 10kg, a condition approved under HDB rules.?He is about 1+ year old now. He is an affectionate and friendly dog who loves to be around humans.?He is very well-behaved and not barkish at all. He has not been toilet-trained yet but we are certain he can learn fast if he receives proper training.?He is now on an antibiotics course to treat his tick fever although there's no symptoms of it so far.

Lovely calm pups have been adopted! The brown pup is a female and is only two months old. Good looking and very tame. See, she is play-biting the ear of the older white pup and the white pup doesn't mind it at all (good tempered!). The white female cross breed pup �beside her is already fully grown and has been sterilized and vaccinated. Good with children and other dogs. Needs a garden to roam in. Will definitely be a good pet cum watch dog.

Bella has been adopted! Bella was found at a carpark in Bukit Panjang 2 weeks ago and�is around 3 month old.

Loyang pup has been adopted!About 2 months ago, a kind couple found this little boy playing at a coffee shop at Loyang and brought him home. According to the shop owner nearby this sweetie is the only survivor of the litter.

Puppies have been adopted! These sweet little puppies were rescued from the streets and were eventually adopted.

Puppy has been adopted! This sweetie girl is around 1-2 months old. She is not only clever but a clean dog as she already know how to pee and poo at the newspaper!

Bailey has been adopted! Bailey is a 2 month old female puppy. Because her parents are small size, she won't grow to be too big, most likely just around that of a cocker spaniel. She has been de-wormed and had the 1st puppy vaccinations. She is a clean dog and loves to be groomed. At this learning stage, puppies are naturally eager to explore around.

Girl Girl has been adopted! This sweetie was found injured in an industrial park. She was rescued and her injury had been treated and has recovered. Girl Girl has a wonderful and loving temperament, and gets along well with both dogs, humans including children. She is now happily living with a kind family.

Rosy has been adopted! Rosy was rescued when she was two months old because of a deep wound on her hind which had since fully recovered. The foster had done a great job in managing her skin condition and hair had started to grow back over the scar on her hind. She is medium size and knows basic commands.?She barks only when necessary and is very friendly towards human and dogs alike.

Just a day shy of being euthanized, Amber, the healthy and sweet 13 year old girl was saved by a kind-hearted volunteer and adopted by a good family a few weeks later.

Oscar has been abandoned and was luckily picked up by a kind lady before the AVA can get to him. He is such a wonderful and calm dog that he very soon won over the hearts of the family of his rescuer and they had adopted him as the newest member of their family.

Jewel has been adopted! Jewel is a 3-4 months old, cream colour male that looks like a golden pup. This adorable puppy was rescued on 30th of July in Jurong Island. He was found lying motionless but was still breathing tho' obviously in pain. It seemed he had been attacked by another dog. The kind-hearted rescuer brought him to Animal Clinic at Sunset Way and he was on antibiotic and pain killer. He is okay now, cheerful but a bit lazy tho', sleeps a lot and responds to the name Jewel and food. He has good appetite and loves to play. Adopting party must agree to neuter him later.

Lucky is a male purebred Jack Russell Terrier who is about 1 year old.?He is forever so happy with his tail wagging non-stop. He is active but not super active like some pinball JRT. He walks properly on the leash and will not pull.?He also rides well in the car. He is very affectionate and wants to play with humans all the time and is friendly with other dogs. He was rescued from a drain and his wound has almost healed. Probably he has been used to easing himself as and when he needs, he does not seem to be toilet trained or he might have been trained once but has forgotten it. However, we are certain he has had some training before as he knows simple commands already.?Considering his unpleasant experience before being rescued, he is a strong-willed dog who still manages to remain jovial, positive and happy all the time.

Kuro-chan has been adopted! We first called her Hei Hei (black black in Mandarin) but no response. Then we tried Kuro (black in Japanese).?The "chan" is added as a term of endearment according to Japanese customs.?She responded so her name became Kuro-chan. This 3 month old puppy's mommy is a golden retriever and daddy is a black lab. She was born as a result of irresponsible owners who live in landed properties and did not sterilize their dogs. She was infested with ticks and was so weak she could not even stand up properly when we rescued her. Now, under our care, she is totally free of ticks and fleas and is growing up healthily and happily. She is both paper trained and toilet trained outside.�@

Sport has been adopted!? This is Sport, a pedigree Miniature Pinscher. Sport is a 2 years old boy and we were very impressed by his good behaviour when we first saw him. He has had basic training and is toilet trained outside. He is very clean and does not shed very much. He behaves nicely inside our house and did not even try to jump onto our bed. This little boy is very intelligent and sensitive and is also not so active. He even enters into the crate himself at night when he wants to sleep. He can really be a lap dog once you gain his trust. He also does not bark very much. Actually we haven't heard him bark till now! He does have a strange inclination: he prefers men to women! <LOL> Towards women, he may be defensive by bearing his teeth and growling to indicate his discomfort. Hence, women should be more patient with him and give him more time to slowly know you. Once he trusted you, he is the sweetest dog you could ever dream of!

Jet has been adopted! This 6 kg, 1.5 year old male sweetie is given up by his owner because their maid has left and they could not cope with taking care of him. He came into that family as a result of impulse buying by the father because his child had done well in the exam. The pet shop staff said he is a "lap dog" and "very suitable for your children". They did not explain that JRT is a very active breed and not suitable for apartment life. Jet spent most of his life tied up in the kitchen. You can still see the scar on his neck. Despite this, he has not developed any behavioral problems and is in good health (just a bit underweight). Luckily for Jet, his ex-mummy did not abandon him and came to us for help. He is toilet-trained and will urinate immediately when he goes out of the house. Jet does not bite and gets along well with children and other dogs. He is very active, loves people and loves to play all the time. He sleeps through the night in the crate quietly. He only barks when there's someone at the door.
