Please refresh page every time.                        Nail-cutting

NEVER cut into the quick area of the nail.  There are a lot of blood vessels there and it is excruciatingly painful for the dog if you cut into the quick.  The dog might even bite you (I will too!) or be freaked out the next time you attempt to cut his/her nails.

If your dog's nails are black and it is difficult to see the quick, please let the vet or the professional groomer do the cutting instead.  Please use the nail cutter FOR DOGS, not humans.

If you regularly brings your dog out to exercise, the nails of your dog will be worn down naturally and you don't have to cut his/her nails too often.  This is just one of the many benefits of exercising your dog outdoor everyday.  Let them run and dig!
